I’ve been practicing Informatics Qigong for a little over a year and a half. I do about 50 minutes a day which includes detoxing, chi collecting and the actual practice.
I started because of chronic eczema which is now completely healed. The condition did get worse before it got better and I attributed that to bad chi being expelled from my body in the form of oozing and weeping sores. This was confirmed by Master Zhao whenever I went in for treatments.
I know that whatever physical or emotional challenges I am experiencing will work themselves out through this Qigong. I once was quite upset about something and during my practice my chi allowed me to let go of the anger with forceful exhales through my mouth and nose. Other conditions that have improved include my memory, sinus issues and injuries from a fall.
I did yoga for 20 years and now the postures feel crude in comparison to my Qigong practice. There is an elegance in its symmetry and fluidity. Working with the flow of chi is so simple yet powerful.
I will always be grateful to Master Zhao for his teachings and his compassion. In essence, he gave me back my life by helping me to be less fearful knowing I have the ability to harness chi to heal myself. And when he says don’t worry I instantly feel better and when he says I look younger and brighter I know it to be true.
