Summary: Mrs. Chen’s treatment for her gallbladder inflammation (Cholecystitis)

I was introduced to a Mrs. Chen by Betty Lu in Kaohsiung, Taiwan in mid 2018. She was suffering from gallbladder inflammation which had been giving her pain for a number of weeks. She was in the hospital for a few days when she contacted me. Her pain was sporadic at first and was not very strong, so she ignored it. Days before being hospitalized, the pain became acute and she had suffered much thereafter.

Her pain had made it impossible to sleep for days while in the hospital and there was no ability for her to rest. It’s in this condition that we first communicated. Given her condition, I informed her that I could work to reduce her pain so that she may rest. Even though we are separated by over 7000 miles and can only communicate via voice, I can tell she was under a lot of stress and pain. I diagnosed where she was feeling pain and discomfort and she confirmed it was correct. This surprised her but also convinced her this treatment has hope.

After the first treatment, she was very appreciative as the constant pain was gone and she was able to really relax. Also, the joint pain, headache, and general stressful feelings were gone. I reminded her to listen to her doctor and ended the first treatment.

Next day, she informed me her doctor said she had improved. His assessment was to wait and see if things improve more. She shared she had her first good rest in a long time. We proceeded to 2 more treatments in the hospital for the remaining week which made more improvements. The doctor said she had improved enough where she can go home. From her home, I treated Mrs. Chen another 2 times. She was very grateful and happy as more improvements were made. Her voice was joyful, hopeful and confident.

Mrs. Chen went back to the doctor after being released for one week. He was surprised to find her gallbladder had returned to normal since greater than 99% of patients ends up having surgery. While elated with this good news, Mrs. Chen went to see another doctor (榮總醫院) to confirm this finding. The second doctor also said there’s no reason to have surgery for her gallbladder.

Mrs. Chen was really grateful after all the good effects from qigong treatments. She felt strong enough to return to her tai chi practice shortly after. We’ve stayed in contact since then. It’s been 3 years now and she had not need to see the doctors for her gall bladdar.
