Hi, my name is Tony Mak. I took the beginning class in 2012. I usually practice 排气 before entering home. In the past, I would practice 站功 and 采气 over the weekend and practice the lying posture before going to sleep. For the last 6 months, I have been practicing 采气 and 站功 almost everyday.
Here are some experiences:
1) When I visited Master Zhao office for the interview, before entering the office, I tried 排气 with the trees in front of the office, when I swung my arms, I felt strong qi radiating from my arms to shi-xuan (like electrifying). Feeling is not as strong elsewhere.
2) When I go hiking during the weekend and practice 采气. I usually feel energetic and refreshing afterward.
3) When I am practicing 采气, sometime I have feeling on my Bai-Hui.
4) In past couple weeks, my lao-gongs have been very warm. When I practice 站功, I can feel very warm temperature from my lower dan tian.
5) When I have bad qi or cold qi, I feel more effective to release them while practicing sitting posture with Lao Gong facing downward with my mind focusing qi going downward.
6) The more I practice, the higher my body temperature becomes. I am now avoiding ice water and ice cream. Everytime I eat cold stuff, I can feel cold qi releasing from my legs while practicing. I don’t wear short pants anymore to stay warm.
7) The body has become more sensitive and easier to feel bad qi.
8) The qi from the big trees of the sequoia national park is very strong. I couldn’t sleep at night after visiting the park. I didn’t even practice.
