I was born with eczema disease. I can remember how much my joints, elbows and the back of my knees itched, and I was always bleeding or had scabs around these areas of my body. Around high school, the symptoms of my eczema changed from itching and inflammation around my elbow, joint and knee area to mostly my neck, my face, and my head. Instead of itching due to inflammation, now I am itching mostly due to my skin being too dry. These symptoms of dry and flakey skin on my neck and face got progressively worse through college and when I started working. I have seen plenty of dermatologists and they mostly prescribe me steroids creams like cortisone for temporary relief. The symptoms got worse and worse and my forehead, my eyelids, my neck, and the area above my lips would be constantly shedding skins because of dryness. My eyelids are visibly darker than the rest of the face due to the constant skin shedding. At the same time my period cramps also got worse, and I need to take painkillers to work during my period.
I started seeing a Chinese Medicine doctor about 5 years ago, after the Chinese Medicine’s intense treatment my eczema significantly improved, but after a year my condition would return, and my Chinese Medicine doctor recommended me to learn Qi Gong to treat my eczema from the core and strengthen my overall health. Since, taking Chinese Medicine for the rest of my life would not be an ideal solution.
I started searching online to see if there’s any schools or courses offered near the Bay Area that would fit my needs, then I found Master Zhao’s Institute. I started my first treatment session at the end of September 2021 with the Qigong Therapist, Suni and after the first session I felt extremely tired and weak. I slept for 12 hours after the first session. I also felt my neck was constantly warm and my body was warmer than usual in bed. After the second session, I started getting a slight rash and zits on my neck and my face, but the rash was not nearly as bad as the rash I got during my Chinese Medicine treatment. The other significant difference I noticed is the color of my face. The color of my face has always been dark and tanned, but after each session I can easily notice the color of my face getting brighter and lighter. The small rash and noticeably warmer temperature of my body lasted about two to three weeks. After the rash is over, I noticed that my neck and my eyelids are not as flakey and significantly less shedding. My right side of my eyelid no longer shed, and the dryness of my left eyelids have significantly improved. I was really happy and amazed at how much my eczema has noticeably improved after these sessions, and for the first time in my life I feel like living normally would be possible. After the first 5 in person healing sessions at MZI with Suni, I continue to have the remote healing session on Zoom once every two or three weeks until January 2022. Suni even conducted my first 3 remote sessions after the initial in-person session while she was traveling in Europe. And I continue to feel my eczema conditions getting better. I was really grateful that I have found such an effective treatment for my condition that I have been told by all the western doctors as incurable and chronic. I am grateful for these remote sessions, since I am not local to the Bay Area all the time, so the remote sessions have provided me enough flexibility to continue my Qi treatments. Besides my eczema, my period cramps have also significantly reduced. I noticed a significant reduction in blood clots and my pre-menstrual headaches and swellings have also reduced.
Overall, Qi Healing has given me hope to take control of my conditions and I am very excited about my future as I have been introduced to learn about Qigong myself and I believe pairing the healing sessions along with my own effort that I will be able to change my body’s natural shortcomings and cure my eczema. I want to thank my Qi healer, Suni, for her generosity ad her teachings. She has been tirelessly putting her best effort into all our sessions and teach me about Qigong. I am thankful that Master Zhao and Sharon have started the Master Zhao Institute and I know Master Zhao’s legacy will continue to improve many people’s lives just like he did with mine.
